Food and the Word Outreach Ministry is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity throughout San Antonio. Through compassionate outreach, nutritious meals, essential resources, and the love of Christ, we are committed to restoring hope and dignity—one person at a time.

Why We Serve
We believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Whether someone needs a hot meal, a warm blanket, prayer, or simply someone willing to listen, we seek to reflect the love of Christ through every act of service.
Our Story
On her birthday in 2022, Founder and Executive Director Sequina Moore chose to celebrate by serving hot meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in downtown San Antonio. What began as one act of compassion became the foundation of a ministry devoted to serving others with dignity, consistency, and the love of Christ.
